Someday means never

Someday means never

Have you ever had something that you wanted to do but never actually did? Have you ever heard somebody complain about how much that they hate their job and want to quit but never did? Have you ever heard somebody say that they want to go on an overseas holiday but never have? The one common answer to all of these questions when you ask a person “When are you going to make this happen?” And the answer is always “Someday”. But there is no someday. There is only today. We must live in the moment and grab the bull by the horns. We must take ACTION When I hear the word someday I think about the movie Collateral with Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx. I think about the beginning of the film of how Tom Cruise’s character of the hitman is impressed with how clean Jamie Foxx’s cab is (he plays a cab driver) and how he knows all of the shortcuts in the city like the back of his hand. But Jamie Foxx downplays this and says that he is only in this job for the short-term (despite doing it for 12 years) and says that his dream is to open his own limosine business. Tom Cruise then asks him why he has not yet done this and he starts making his excuses about not having the money or the client base etc. Later in the movie, Jamie Foxx berates Tom Cruise for being a hitman and how he is a bad person and Tom Cruise comes back at him saying how much of a loser he...
Be proud of your numbers

Be proud of your numbers

No, not the numbers in your bank account Instead, focus on the number of people that you’re talking to each day, the amount of people that you’re connecting with, the amount of conversations  that you’re having and the amount of email subscribers that you’re getting. And don’t think about how many rejections you have, and don’t think about how much money you are or are not making. Instead, I want you to think about how many people you have reached out to help and change their life each and every day. It’s not about getting rewarded, it’s just about giving. Think about a time when you have helped somebody in need, like a time when you may have changed somebody’s tyre or driven a loved one to the hospital because they were in pain, or a time you may have lent money to a friend because they were down on their luck. I’m sure that during the time that any of these events occurred that you were not thinking of getting rewarded but rather you truly wanted to help somebody. And it’s just the same in home business. Ask the question ” how many people can I reach out and help today”? And then make note in a diary or on your desktop or smart phone of how many connections that you have made for the week. And then look to double that the next week. And you will be rewarded in more ways than one. P.S. If you would like to connect with me to discuss this topic or to learn more about what I do and what...
How to deal with anger and frustration

How to deal with anger and frustration

We all feel angry and frustrated from time to time, but it’s not about feeling it, it’s about dealing with it properly I must admit that I have done some crazy things because of my temper over the years. But the problem was that I didn’t know how to deal with it. Some of the most  effective methods I have found to counter a bad attitude are: Doing meditation It’s as easy as just typing in the heading into YouTube and finding a nice video that you connect with. It can be also just as effective to take a class and feel the positive vibes of those around you. You will thank yourself for taking the time and giving yourself the reward of the Zen.   Take three slow deep breaths: Have you ever had somebody say to you when you’re frustrated “breath”? It’s very true. When you feel your frustration boiling over, just quickly and quietly go to another room or the bathroom.  Take a deep breath in and then out, in and then out. You will be surprised how this can actually work and you will re-enter the room a whole new you! Use a punching bag or a pillow It can’t hurt you and you can’t hurt it. I find hitting a pillow most effective because halfway through I feel stupid hitting a pillow and stop and laugh. And of course, laughter is the best medicine. When all is said and done, I find that the best thing to do is start the day off right from the very beginning and as soon as you wake...
Network Marketing – You must give before you receive.

Network Marketing – You must give before you receive.

The universe is rigged. It’s like Xmas. You must give before you get. But sadly, our society is wired wrong, we want to get before we give. And we want results before the action. Are you focused on people’s needs and wants? Are you there for a friend or family member to listen to and help them with their problems? Most people are so focused on promoting how great their company is and how much money they can make that they forget the basic principle. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO THEM? WHAT HAVE YOU REALLY GIVEN THEM? Sure we all want money, success and recognition but how do we get there? And this is the crucial part. Because people want the success but they don’t know the path. And it’s not about how much you make it’s about how much that you care. And you must give them a path to follow. Make a free course, a free giveaway to set them on the right path. Something like “The four simple steps to build a 7 figure business using Facebook” And then by offering this on the front end, only then will they join or buy from you. Because again it’s like Xmas. If you give somebody a present first they will feel obliged to give you one in return. If you would like an example of what a free training giveaway should look like, click here.   Thank you for reading....
Network Marketing – Self-confidence and how to achieve it.

Network Marketing – Self-confidence and how to achieve it.

A wise man once said, “self-confidence conquers many enemies and opens many doors. Years ago I was selling treadmills and had to make 4 sales a week to keep my job. Even if someone was ready to buy I would still talk myself out of it saying I need to do this and say that. Because my confidence was down I couldn’t accept that I was about to succeed and make a sale. As a contrast one day when my confidence was sky-high, I made 4 sales in only 3 hours because I had that positive energy and vibe going out, people were drawn to that. And this time when someone walked up to me and said right out “I’m ready to buy” And all I had to say was “Great let’s do the paperwork. Isn’t confidence great? But… I’m not just saying ” be confident” like it’s as simple as turning on a switch. It’s not that simple. Or is it? More often than that when I have been self-confident it’s been only a matter of hearing the right thing at the right time. But I can’t think and feel for other people. What I can do is recommended to you what I do. LET GO OF YOUR SELF-IMAGE AND LEARN TO LOVE AND LAUGH AT YOURSELF It really is that simple sometimes for me to hear that. The best feeling I’ve ever had in the world is doing something silly that other people laugh at and I have laughed even harder to the point where my stomach ached. Let’s face it, you can’s defuse a bomb once...
Network Marketing – Dealing with Family opinions

Network Marketing – Dealing with Family opinions

No one likes rejection, nobody likes to be turned down If it’s a stranger it doesn’t matter so much because you don’t know them. But family opinions can matter more. Here are some examples of the comments that have been thrown my way by family members. “Ha ha, look he’s trying to sell us his business” “Oh you haven’t  given your money to those scammers have you?” “How could you be so silly as to fall for that old pyramid scheme?” Did it hurt? Yes, but maybe for a day or so. But here’s the thing. They are trying to protect you or so they think. Because if they can’t see it for them, then they can’t see it for you. How do we combat this? Just be a shining  and consistent example of what network marketing is. Just keep taking your products or using your service. Keep attending meetings, making new friends and putting out great content. Sooner or later your efforts will pay off. You will be posting pictures more and more frequently of exciting holiday destinations  that you are travelling to and expensive things that you are buying etc. And then your family will come running sooner or later asking how do manage to get the time, freedom and money to live this new and lavish lifestyle of yours? And you say “by doing xyz ,the same things that you laughed at me about doing”. And never get defensive, if they are negative just nod and smile at whatever they say, your unbreakable frame and posture is crucial, they want to see your strength. If you...
Network Marketing – How to have a productive day.

Network Marketing – How to have a productive day.

How was your day? has your day been productive? A day has gone and past. You can make more money but you can’t buy more time. Have you squeezed every possible minute of the day into your  business and other productive tasks. Or did you instead put things off? Did you play a video game instead of writing a blog post? Did you put off housework to instead sit on the couch and eat chips? Did you watch television instead of a self-development video? It’s so important that we tackle the tasks that we hate doing head on. It’s even more important to write each task down and tick it off as you go. Having a diary to use in network marketing is as important as needing oxygen. Don’t just use it for writing down business tasks, use it also for outside tasks, housework etc. By doing this you will not only relieve your physical workload but also your mental workload. I personally have lost so much sleep over tasks that I have put off because I thought it would kill me only to increase my workload a thousand times by having a full mind and an empty diary of tasks to do. If there is one thing worse than having to catch up on work, it’s catching up on sleep. Yes I know, we all have never-ending barriers that get in our way but if you can’t do every task that you have set for a certain day, at least set time aside to do some of the tasks. Give your mind a break by freeing it up....
